Veneer History

A coating attached to the tooth is referred to as a veneer. The purpose can be to help appearance or to simply guard the teeth. Additional protection of teeth is always smart. This method was invented by Charles Pincus in the 1920s. Originally it was for wealthy actors to look their best in a film. Pincus created temporary acrylic veneers to use with an adhesive. It was not until later that veneers would have the ability for permanence.
